The Lilywhites have been drawn at Wycombe or Crewe in the second round of the FA Cup with Budweiser.
The draw was made live on ITV1 at Wembley by Tore Andre Flo and Perry Groves and the Lilywhites were the second tie out the hat.
Gareth Ainsworth's Wycombe picked up a draw with the Railwayman on Saturday and will replay next Tuesday, so North End must wait to find out their opponent.
