The Preston North End squad enjoyed a slap up lunch with our social media partner Baffito’s on Tuesday afternoon.
The restaurant, which is situated on Navigation Way, put on a special footballers buffet for the boys which included delicious salads, pastas and pizzas, a feast which was thoroughly enjoyed by all following a tough training session at Springfields.
Midfielder Ryan Croasdale even got in on the chef role in the kitchen!
Speaking of the lunch, assistant manager Glynn Snodin said: It was a really nice afternoon, we had good food and we have really enjoyed it.
“It is nice for the lads to get out as well to a different environment, taste a bit of food and hopefully some of them have enjoyed it enough that they will come back of their own accord in the future.
“It is important that you work with the community, Preston are a big Club and it is nice to get out and about and to do more of this type of thing.
“I’d definitely come back for the pasta, just not the spicy one, I’m a plain food man!
“But in all seriousness, it is a nice environment and the food is lovely and with the waterfront, it would be nice to come back here.”
Baffito’s are Preston North End’s social media partner for the next two seasons and have recently branched out in to Preston after the success of their first restaurant in Warrington.
