Preston North End face Southport in the Lancashire Senior Cup tonight with an array of first team players scheduled to feature including the return of Jack King.
King has been side-lined for several weeks with a foot injury, but he is pencilled in to return to action at some point tonight against Southport at Victory Park, Chorley, kick-off 7.30pm.
Other first team squad members likely to see substantial playing time are Lee Holmes, David Buchanan and John Mousinho as North End field a strong line-up.
The Port currently sit 17th in the Football Conference and will likely use this match as a tune up for their big league clash on Saturday against runaway leaders Cambridge United.
