Nicky Wroe has joined Shrewsbury Town on an emergency loan until the 1st December.
The midfielder, who has made seven appearances for the Lilywhites this season, returns to Greenhous Meadow on a temporary basis – the home of the Club that North End signed him from in the summer of 2012.
Wroe will join Graham Turner’s men with immediate effect, although he can be recalled to Preston after the initial 28 days of the deal.
He is also ineligible to play for the Shrews in the FA Cup first round which commences next month.
In total, Wroe has made 54 appearances for the Lilywhites to date, scoring 11 times lasts season in all competitions, including a hat-trick in a 3-2 away win against Scunthorpe United.
