Autumn NCS Details Announced

17 September 2013

Preston North End will run an autumn National Citizen Service (NCS) on the back of the incredible success of the summer course.

There are 15 places up for grabs on this brilliant scheme for 16 and 17-year-olds in college or sixth form, commencing on Friday 25th October.

Participants will enjoy a residential visit to Scotland, where they can get involved in a variety of teambuilding activities and can test their nerve on the famous zip wire.

As on previous programmes, the course will consist of a social action project, aimed at building character and giving those taking part an excellent addition to their CVs.

Meanwhile, participants in North End’s summer NCS project will be treated to their graduation ceremony next month.

The event will be held in the Invincibles Lounge at Deepdale, where they will be treated to a three course meal and get the chance to look back at what they have achieved on the course.

So, if you would like to get involved in the upcoming Autumn project, get in touch with our NCS co-ordinator Jonny Ellithorn on 01772 693318, or email jonathan@pne.com for more details.
