Voting is now open for the 2014 player of the year awards, sponsored by Dewhurst Homes.
We are asking you, the fans, to make the decision on four categories, which will be presented at the awards evening at Deepdale on Sunday 4th May.
We want you to choose the official 2014 player of the year, the young player of the year – aged 21 or younger, the community player of the year and the goal of the 2013/14 season.
The player of the year awards are this year sponsored by the Club’s partner Dewhurst Homes and they will present the main award on the night to the choice you make as the player who has hit the heights week in, week out for Simon Grayson’s side.
The young player of the year, won in 2013 by Bailey Wright, goes to a player, 21 or under, who again has done well for the team and developed his burgeoning career during the campaign.
The community player of the year should be nominated based on their efforts off the field, to promote the Club, to actively promote sports participation and charity work when they are not training or playing.
Finally, with so many great goals this season it will be difficult to select your goal of the season, but to help you can check out our previous goal of the month contenders and winners on our official YouTube channel.
To vote, all you need to do it to email firstname.lastname@example.org with your choices – title your email ‘2014 POTY’ – or you can use snail mail, to 2014 POTY, PNEFC, Sir Tom Finney Way, Deepdale, Preston PR1 6RU.
If you would like to be at the event on the night of the 4th May, to see these awards, along with the Scholar of the year and the players’ player of the year award presented to the winners tickets are now on sale.
