Preston North End’s away fixture against Coventry City on Saturday 27th September will now be played at the Ricoh Arena.
The Lilywhites’ Sky Bet League One clash with Steven Pressley's side was originally due to take place at Northampton Town’s Sixfields Stadium.
However, it was announced on Thursday morning that Coventry had agreed a two-year deal to return to the Ricoh Arena from September.
North End’s last visit to the Ricoh ended in a 1-1 draw with Lee Holmes scoring a second half equaliser for the visitors. Goals from Billy Jones and Iain Hume secured Preston’s last win at the ground back in 2010.
Ticket details for the game against Coventry will be announced in the coming weeks.
