Joe Garner admits he never had any intention of leaving the Club he supported as a child, and is happy to have signed a new deal at Deepdale.
The striker was pleased to get the deal done early on in the season so that he can now focus on what he does best, scoring goals.
"I'm delighted, I never wanted to go anywhere, I knew myself that I wasn't going anywhere, but like I say, happy to have signed and to crack on with the season now.
"It's what I wanted really, just for it all to be sorted out and now it is I can concentrate on my football, and concentrate on us trying to get promotion this year.
Last season's top goalscorer unsurprisingly attracted attention over the summer following his prolific season for the Lilywhites but the 26-year-old believes it's a good thing to be noticed.
"It's when you've got to worry when no one is speaking about you, that's when you've got to have a good look but I was happy with last year and happy with the start this year and hopefully just push on now."
