PNE Player: Paul Gallagher ‘At Home’ With Preston North End

5 August 2014

Preston North End loanee Paul Gallagher has told PNE Player he feels more than comfortable in his current surroundings.

This will be Gallagher’s third loan spell at the club, having spent time at Deepdale in 2007 and more recently last season, and the Glaswegian born player admits he feels more at ease now knowing that he’s back at North End for the whole season.

“I’ve enjoyed it every time I’ve been here and it’s like a home now really,” he said on returning to Lancashire.

“The fans have been good to me, and I said to the manager that I wanted to come back, put things right and get promotion after losing in the semi-final last season.

“I’ve got friends in this dressing room that I’ve got close with – it’s a good set of lads, the team spirit is fantastic, and you saw plenty of times last season that we stuck together and won games.”
