Commonwealth Gold medallist and Preston born Boxer Scott Fitzgerald will perform a lap of honour this Saturday at half-time during PNE’s season opener against Notts County.
Fitzgerald, who comes from Larches and Savick Boxing Club, won Gold in the Welterweight category at the Commonwealth Games last weekend in Glasgow.The 22-year-old, who is also a North End fan will be a guest of honour for Preston North End and Betsid and will show off his prized possession during the half-time interval.
