Preston North End manager Simon Grayson is looking forward to welcoming one of his former clubs to Deepdale this Saturday when the Foxes travel to Lancashire.
The Lilywhites conclude their pre-season preparations with the visit if Leicester; the third Premier League side that PNE have faced this term.
And after a successful, trophy laden stint with Leicester, Grayson can’t wait to pit his wits against a Club he knows well.
“With regards to the weekend I am looking forward to it,” said Simon, in an exclusive interview with PNE Player prior to Thursday’s fans’ forum in the Invincibles Lounge.
“I spent six years there, successful times, had a few Wembley appearances and lifted a few trophies there, so it is great that we have them coming up to round off our pre-season preparations.
“They are the third of three Premiership teams that we have had which is testament again, as I have said many times, to us as a Club that three teams wanted to come and play us.”
