Tom Clarke Pleased With Preston North End's Unbeaten Start To The Season

18 August 2014

Tom Clarke has been leading out the North End boys in the last three games and is delighted with the way things are going.

Two wins and a draw from the first three games of the season have left the team in high spirits, in particular following the 4-0 victory over Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

"We are pleased, obviously disappointed with the inital draw against Notts County, I felt that in the first half we deserved more, but from that game we have kicked on and got two good results."

Speaking of tomorrow's game, Clarke went on to say: "They are a team that has come down, they have kept quite a few of the players that were up there so its going to be a difficult game, but we go in there with confidence.

"We played well against Scunthorpe so we go there and hopefully we can do a job again."
