Hunts Looking To Kick On In 2015

30 December 2014

Defender Paul Huntington is looking for his side to kick on in the second half of the season and heaped praise on the togetherness of the squad.

Having started the season on the fringes of the matchday squad, he fought his way into contention and has now started each of the last 16 games in all competitions for the Lilywhites and believes hard work has been key for the team's form so far.

"There's a lot of positives to take and we look to kick on now in the new year.

"There's been a real good togetherness and a desire to do well for each other and I think that's shown in the performances and everyone working hard for each other

"Especially with the goals against it's been a team effort, certainly on my part as a defender, everyone's been working that little bit harder for each other and I think that bodes well for us going in to the second half of the season.

"We know there's a long way to go, we're only half way through the season now and like I say it's been really noticeable I think that everyone that has played their part has gone the extra yard.

"Especially away from home when you can come under quite a lot of pressure, everyone has stood up to that and I think that's great for the team."
