Cup Of Joy For Gally

31 December 2014

Paul Gallagher enjoys playing with the ‘mango’ FA Cup football – he has one at home after his hat-trick against Barnet last season!

And the man who pulls the strings in the North End midfield/frontline is looking forward to welcoming Norwich City to Deepdale this weekend.

Speaking to The One And Only the on loan No.12 said: “We have had a good little run in the FA Cup so far, we came in early doors and have seen two teams off and we want to get through and try to get another good draw to give the fans a big Club at Deepdale again.

“As a kid growing up, it was, as they say ‘the magic of the FA Cup’, I used to love watching the non-league teams playing against the bigger clubs.

“We have had it ourselves against Havant & Waterlooville, we went down there and did a professional job.

“It was a good game to play in, a tight little ground, and growing up as a kid it was magic watching games like that.

“We knew we had to get through to eventually get to the third round and get a good draw and we have got Norwich, so we will look forward to it and hopefully go through.”

There’s more from Paul in this weekend’s 32-page edition of the matchday programme, along with other exclusives from Paul Huntington, Andy Little and eight pages of content about our visitors from East Anglia.

All this and more, still for the fantastic value price of just £2. They will be on sale from Friday afternoon from the Club shop, online and in person from our sellers inside and outside of Deepdale on matchday.
