Gaffer Reflects On Season So Far Ahead Of Cup Clash

30 December 2014

Manager Simon Grayson speaks to PNE Player about the 2014/15 season so far and his hopes for the remainder of the campaign.

Speaking ahead of the FA Cup tie against Norwich at Deepdale, Grayson reveals he is pleased with how his side have progressed up to this stage and hopes it continues into the new year with the whole squad focused on their main aim come May.

"I think if anybody said at the start of preseason that we would be in this position, in the Cup competitions, where we are in the FA Cup coming up then we certainly would be delighted and we would have taken that.

"It's all to play for, a lot of games still to be won, lost and drawn by a lot of clubs, it's going to be very tight for the second half of the season but you can see a gap developing a little bit now between the four teams that are looking for those top two places but you certainly can't dismiss any of the other teams as well.

"But we've got to concentrate on what we need to do and make sure that we're focused and try and achieve our objective which we started out the season with.

To hear more from Simon Grayson on the season so far, his praise for his squad and his hopes for 2015.
