Grayson Praises Dons Squad As Their Strongest Yet

11 December 2014

North End manager Simon Grayson was full of praise for the MK Dons side who are flying high in League One, but hopes his side come out on top on Saturday.

The two sides go head to head this weekend and the gaffer is expecting a tough test as he believes this MK Dons side is the strongest the Club has had since their formation.

"I think when you look at MK Dons, they've probably got as strong a squad as they have done for a long time now, they've invested in the loan market strikers wise with Afobe and Grigg. They've got some young exciting talent's coming through and Deli Ali and Reeves as well and experienced campaigners we've been there for years.

"I think this is there best chance if they are going to get promoted this year because I do feel that it's their strongest squad. I think Karl [Robinson] would say that as well, looking at his squads in the past he's probably not felt the strength in depth but this year they certainly have.

"It's a tough game for us, obviously two teams right at the top, trying to remain in those positions right up until the end of the season. It will be a great game, we always have good games against them because we're both footballing teams, we both try and play in the right manner and hopefully we can come out on top."
