Scott Wiseman Looking Forward To Facing Former Club

Defender Scott Wiseman is looking forward to coming up against his former side for the first time when Barnsley visit Deepdale on Boxing Day.

The 29-year-old admits it’s a fixture he looked for at the start of the season and knows what to expect from Danny Wilson's side. 

“It’s one of the ones I looked at as soon as the fixtures came out in the summer so I’ve had it penciled in for a long time, I’ve got a lot of friends and family coming to watch. 

“They [Barnsley] have got Ramage, Craine still there, Nyatanga and they’ve got a strong team there, I know quite a few of them ,the ones that are still there anyway, I speak to them briefly and so I know what they’ve got there and I know that they’ve had to start again, which was always going to have to happen, so they will be there or thereabouts this year. 

North End go into the game on the back of a good run of form, and Scott is more than happy with how things are going at present.
