Stuckmann Hoping For Happy Return To Deepdale

4 December 2014

Thorsten Stuckmann tells PNE Player he is looking forward to this weekend's FA Cup tie, in particular because it has been so long since he played at Deepdale.

The last time the German stopper graced the pitch at home was two months ago in the JPT and he can't wait to get a chance in the FA Cup should he start on Saturday.

"It will be a tough game, we played them in the JPT, that was a really tough match and it will be the same challenge for us this week and we have to be really mentally ready for it and we'll have to be on our toes and perform well.

"We all want to get one of the big teams [in the next round] but first of all we have to put the work in to beat Shrewsbury, then we can all look at the draw and hope we get a big team at home.

"But I don't want to look that far ahead I just want to concentrate on the 90 minutes here and then on Saturday night hopefully we can just relax and look at the draw."

To hear more from Thorsten on the FA Cup, keeping his place in the side and more go to PNE Player.
