Preston Duo Join Celtic

21 February 2014

Preston North End youngsters Ryan Croasdale and Jack Ryan have joined Stalybridge Celtic on youth loans.

The pair will join up with the Bower Fold Club today and will be available for their match with Brackley on Saturday.

Speaking of the loan moves which run until 22nd March, North End manager Simon Grayson said: “This is an excellent opportunity for both Ryan and Jack to go out and experience what it is like to fight for three points every week.

“As a Club, we thing very highly of them both and this experience will help their development no end.

“Stalybridge are a full-time Club playing at a decent level and I’m sure the players will enjoy the chance to play regular first team football.”

Croasdale has spent time out on loan at Tamworth already this season, whilst this will be Ryan’s first taste of first team football; the striker currently a second year scholar with the Lilywhites.

Stalybridge are currently fighting for survival in the Conference North, just one place above the drop.

The young duo will be working under the tutorage of Keith Briggs, a former team-mate of Grayson who he played with at Stockport County.
