From North & West: From junction 40 take the A66 Penrith bypass signposted Scotch Corner. At the next roundabout take the second exit A686 signposted Alston. Follow road for 500 yards and take the second right turn, signposted Hunter Hall and Frenchfield. Pitches 400 yards at the bottom of the hill.
From South: A6 through Eamont Bridge to roundabout at the top of the hill. Take the third exit signposted A686 Alston. (Then as above).
