On Sunday, our Academy sides face Wigan Athletic at various different venues and times depending on the age group.
Below is a list of all the information players, parents and fans need to know:
U9s
Venue – John Rigby College, Gathurst Road, Orrell, Wigan, WN5 0LJ, kick-off time – 11am, venue meeting time – 10am
U10s

DIRECTIONS TO ST JOHN RIGBY COLLEGE
St John Rigby College, Gathurst Road, Orrell, Wigan , WN5 0LJ
From the North -Leave the M6 at junction 27 (signposted Wigan & Parbold, A5209), then at the roundabout at the top of the slip road take the first exit onto the A5209.
At the T-junction, turn right onto the A5209.
Continue for 100m to a mini roundabout, proceeding straight onto Shevington Lane - B5206.
*Please note: To pass through Shevington Lane there is a bridge you will need to pass under which has a height restriction of 3.6m. If this restricts your access then please leave the M6 at J26 and follow the directions below from the South & West.
Proceed on B5206, going straight on at three more mini roundabouts for approx. 2.6 miles and St. John Rigby College will be on the left hand side.
From the South & West - Leave the M6 at Junction 26, then at the first roundabout take the second exit.
Immediately at the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A577 (Signposted Wigan & Upholland.)
At the traffic signals at the T-junction, turn left onto the A577 (Signposted Upholland & Orrell) and proceed for 0.35 miles to the crossroads.
At traffic signals turn right onto Gathurst Road - B5206.
St. John Rigby College is situated on the right hand side after one mile.
Coaches should follow the road to the left on coming onto the college site and changing rooms are located at the end of the car park at the rear of the site.
