Preston North End’s Nicky Wroe has joined Oxford United on loan for the rest of the 2013/14 campaign.
The midfielder had been on loan at fellow Sky Bet League One Club Shrewsbury Town since October, making 11 appearances for the Salop, but he has now joined Chris Wilder’s side for the rest of this campaign.
Wroe was an integral part of North End’s 2012/13 season, featuring 47 times and scoring 11 goals, including a hat-trick away at Scunthorpe United.
He has also played seven times for the Lilywhites this season.
