Team Effort Wins PNE Goal Of The Year

Preston North End’s Boxing Day goal against Carlisle United has been voted as the 2013 Goal of the Year winner.

Josh Brownhill was the man to cap off the wonderful move which involved every outfield player touching the ball and 13 passes.

This goal has now been nominated by the Club to the Football League to be considered for the Mitre Goal of the Year at the 2014 Football League Awards.

The goal was the overwhelming choice of the PNE faithful, received more than double what the second place finish from Joe Garner against Leyton Orient received.
