Preston North End start their 2014/15 pre-season with the annual Jack Kirkland Trophy at Victory Park on Tuesday evening.
The Lilywhites take on the recently promoted Conference North side with the full squad expected to be utilised during the 90 minutes.
Bailey Wright returned to training on Monday following his extended break after the World Cup, but he is not expected to be involved against Garry Flitcroft’s men, but most other players are expected to be given at least 45 minutes in what will be a tough start as they take on the Magpies who will again want to make progress after their success in 2013/14.
Jamie Jones, Andy Little, Calum Woods and Jordan Hugill are all set for a first run out in a PNE shirt, although Kyel Reid continues his rehabilitation and will not feature.
Simon Grayson’s side will wear their 2013/14 home kit for the fixture, with the home side wearing an all red kit.
The game kicks-off at 7pm and entry is available on the gate at Victory Park priced at £7 adults, £5 seniors (over 60), £3 for 12 to 16-year-olds and U12s are free, when accompanied by a paying adult.
Disabled fans pay the full price at their age category with a carer/assistant entering for free.
