Paul Gallagher says that he has known since the start of the summer that he wanted to be back in the lilywhite of Preston North End for the 2014/15 season.
Gally joined the rest of the North End first team squad for pre-season training at Springfields after securing his season long loan switch from parent club Leicester City.
And the latest North End recruit couldn’t be happier now that his foreseeable future is sorted out.
“It feels very good to be back,” said the man starting his third spell at Deepdale, in an exclusive interview with PNE Player after signing his name on the dotted line.
“We knew [he wanted to come on loan] from last season after the heartbreak from the Play-Offs. The manager spoke and I spoke, and he knew I wanted to come back and he wanted me to come back, and it was just a matter of getting it done.
“He wanted to make sure it was before pre-season started so I could get in and hit the ground running and I am happy to do that.”
