Skipper John Welsh admitted that you don't expect the words 'magic' and 'Keane' to appear next to each other too often in a match report, but that his goal at Morecambe was something of quality.
The PNE No.19 spoke to PNE Player after the Lilywhites' 2-1 win at Morecambe's Globe Arena on Friday night and the scouser was full of praise for his team-mate.
"You won't hear magic and Keane together too often; but it was a brilliant run.
"It was a great ball from Kev [Davies] and you never know what Keano's going to do, but he chipped the keeper and looked like he enjoyed it!
"It was great to come and get the win because it's a tough game to come. They word hard and it is as close to a competitive game as you are going to get and hopefully that will benefit us."
