PNE manager Simon Grayson heaped praise on his players’ first half display against Halifax Town stating it was some of the best he has seen by the side.
The gaffer was speaking exclusively to PNE Player following the Lilywhites’ second win in as many days, this time against the Shaymen, a match which Preston won 2-1.
Grayson said post-match: “We knew it was going to be a good, tough test because they did ever so well last year in the Conference and it was an opportunity for us, after last night’s game, for a few of them to get other time.
“I thought first half we probably played some of the best football since I have been at the football club.”
