Preston North End manager Simon Grayson is glad that his 2014/15 squad have the winning habit again so far this pre-season.
The gaffer was speaking ahead of Tuesday’s visit of Burnley, and, with a four wins from four matches away record under their belt, Grayson is more than satisfied with his troops to date.
“I am pleased with how pre-season has gone so far in terms of the performances,” said Grayson in an exclusive interview with PNE Player.
“The results, obviously you don’t read too much into pre-season, but if you can get in to that habit of winning matches then it is a good state of mind to be in.
“It is all part of pre-season, upping the anti, and it doesn’t come much better than a local game against Burnley on Tuesday and then another Premier League fixture against Leicester on Saturday.”
