Neil Kilkenny says Preston North End manager Simon Grayson was a big factor in his decision to sign a new contract at the Club.
The 28-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Lilywhites having spent the second half of last season at Deepdale.
The Australian midfielder has played under Grayson and Glynn Snodin at Leeds United, during which time the Elland Road outfit won promotion to the Championship.
Now the former Bristol City man will get the chance to continue his rapport with Preston’s coaching staff as the Lilywhites target a successful 2014/15.
“A massive factor for me was the manager and Snods,” Kilkenny said in an exclusive interview with PNE Player.
“It’s a great Club as well but obviously knowing the manager and Snods, it makes it a lot easier to come to a place where you know someone.
“So I’m really glad and feel really privileged to be in this situation.”
