Jordan Hugill cannot wait to get started at Preston North End after becoming Simon Grayson’s third summer signing.
The 22-year-old has joined the Lilywhites from fellow Sky Bet League One side Port Vale for an undisclosed fee, putting pen to paper on a two-year contract.
The former Gateshead striker made 24 appearances for the Valiants last season and won the club’s young player of the year award.
Now Hugill is determined to keep his development going at Deepdale, telling PNE Player in an exclusive interview: “I just can’t wait to get started.
“I have been working hard over the summer and then hopefully come back in this season and improve on what I did last season for Port Vale and do even better for Preston.”
