Preston North End are one of 17 seeds in the north section of the Capital One Cup, first round draw.
The Lilywhites are number 13 and could come up against one of several fellow Lancashire clubs in Accrington Stanley, Fleetwood Town or Morecambe who are in the unseeded half of the draw.
North End fans will remember the first round last season with great fondness, when Tom Clarke’s late header sunk local rivals Blackpool in the opening round before Preston were knocked out by now Premier League Burnley.
The draw will be released at 10am on Tuesday 17th June at 10am.
