Young Preston North End duo Will Hayhurst and Steven James have signed loan extensions with York City and Nantwich Town respectively.
The pair will remain at their current clubs on youth loan deals until the end of the season; North End having a 24 hour recall clause on both.
Hayhurst has formed one half of an exciting partnership with fellow Preston youngster Ben Davies down the Minstermen’s left hand side in recent weeks, as they pull themselves up the Sky Bet League Two table, so much so that they currently sit only seven points outside the Play-Offs.
James, who played his part in a 2-2 draw with Ilkeston on Saturday, has also been featuring regularly for The Dabbers.
