Preston North End manager Simon Grayson has been nominated for February’s League One manager of the month award.
The gaffer has masterminded another undefeated month in Sky Bet League One for Preston, with wins against Notts County, Tranmere Rovers and Colchester United coupled with draws against Leyton Orient, MK Dons and Rotherham United.
This is Grayson’s third nomination for the accolade this season having won the September award, before also having his name in the reckoning for November.
Grayson faces stiff competition however with Nigel Clough (Sheff Utd), Steve Evans (Rotherham United) and Kenny Jackett (Wolves) also nominated.
The judging panel is chaired by former Football League manager Dave Bassett with Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins deciding on the winner.
An announcement on February’s manager of the month will be made on Friday, 7th March 2014.
