Next up in PNE’s top ten videos on the official YouTube channel for this season involves Josh Brownhill getting the better of a Champions League winner.
At number eight, Brownhill’s cheeky turn would have left the legendary Edgar Davids for dust had it not been for the former Juventus player fouling the then 17-year-old.
A hat trick from Paul Gallagher, along with a brace from Joe Garner and a goal from Tom Clarke ensured Preston saw off Barnet that day 6-0 to march into the second round of the FA Cup.
Whilst Davids was accumulating his 351st appearance in his illustrious career, Brownhill was making just his fourth start since breaking into the first team.
Nonetheless Brownhill still had the audacity to try this bit of trickery on the player-coach.
