Number four in the most viewed videos on PNE’s official YouTube channel for this season is Kevin Davies’ 30 yard volley against Wycombe in the second round of the FA Cup.
The finish proved to be the decisive goal of the game with North End marching on to the third round of the competition with a 1-0 victory.
A flicked header from Stuart Beavon found its way to Davies who let the ball bounce once before releasing a thunderbolt volley that flew into the top corner.
At the age of 37, Davies later told PNE.Com that the goal was up there with one of the best in his career, with the strike, his third of the season to that date.
