Manager Simon Grayson tells PNE Player that he and his squad will take the positives from Saturday's defeat and use them to try and get a positive result on Tuesday against Swindon Town.
The defeat to Rochdale was just the third loss all season for the Lilywhites and so Grayson is hoping to put things right tomorrow night when he returns to the ground where he first took charge of North End over 18 months ago.
Swindon sit just five points behind PNE in League One and the gaffer knows his side will need to be at the top of their game to get all three points.
"This team have not lost too many football matches since I've been here and they don't like losing matches and everybody can be disappointed, i.e the supporters, but within that dressing room you can really sense there was a feeling that they've not performed and have let a lot of people down, which you can't say often.
"As much as we are disappointed, we will draw from the positives as well and try and galvanise ourselves to go again. It's good to have a game so quickly but also we know we are in for a real tough game because Swindon are tough opposition.
"They are one of these teams that are really attack minded, score a lot of goals and concede quite a few goals as well. THey had a great result last week, midweek against Chesterfield and obviously lost at MK DOns at the weekend which is obviously a tough game for them anyway so we know what to expect from them.
"They've got some good players, they've got players that can hurt you if you're not on your game and we know that we have to be really at it again and so far our away performances have been really good. We have to improve on certain aspects but we will go there in good spirits.
