Kevin Davies admits the dressing room was disappointed following the 3-0 defeat to Rochdale at Spotland but the focus is now onto Tuesday night at Swindon.
Losing is not something the side are used to having lost just three all season, but the team have always responded well to defeats, something they hope to do again Tuesday night.
“It’s a feeling we’ve not had for a long time, we’re not going to make any excuses, we weren’t good enough today, they deserved to win.
“We aren’t going to blame the number of games we’ve had or stuff like that, we’ve been on a fantastic run, we knew it was going to come to an end but I think the performance today we weren’t ourselves and we’ve come up against a very good side who punished us and made it a very difficult afternoon for us.
"Today it’s disappointing for us but there's nothing we can do about it now, we have to dust ourselves down, take our medicine and start preparing for Tuesday which is another big game for us."
