Preston North End Launch ‘What’s In The Box’ Christmas Gift Appeal

20 November 2014

As part of Preston North End’s ‘Whites Christmas’ campaign, the Club are today launching a scheme to give every child a gift this Christmas.

We are asking fans to buy an extra gift when out Christmas shopping this year, a present which is then donated to the Club for us to wrap and give to someone who may not have anything to open on Christmas morning.

Children from St Pius Prep School are also getting in on the act, with youngsters from the school and their parents being asked to buy an additional gift that their child can wrap and donate to someone who may not be as well off this winter.

The school are also going to buy additional presents using money from their Christmas fair.

All gifts will then be centrally collected, before several of the Preston North End first team and children from Pius’ hand them over to the Salvation Army for distribution.

We are asking supporters of North End to donate presents to the Club by dropping them off at the main office reception next to Deepdale Stadium.

Gifts can also be left in and around the Chorley area in association with Child Action North West.

These drop off points are Fredericks Ice Cream, Chorley Conservative Association and Tiny Rockers Nursery in Buckshaw Village.

So if you can spare one present this Christmas, buy it for a child less fortunate than others and let’s make it a lilywhite Christmas for all.
