“Big Three Points” For Gally And Co

4 October 2014

Preston North End’s Paul Gallagher believes that victory against Colchester United is a big three points for the Lilywhites.

North End fell behind early on but bounced back in emphatic style to claim a 4-2 win, a come from behind victory that was only achieved once last season.

Gallagher scored Preston’s third and crucial go ahead goal in the match, and he believes that the team showed excellent character to respond in the way they did.

Speaking exclusively to PNE Player, the Preston No.12 said: “We knew it was going to be a tricky game, Colchester are a good team, a young team who like to pass the ball.

“I thought we started the game well, obviously conceded a goal against the run of play I thought, but we showed good character to come back into the game.

“The most important thing is to get three points, we know we haven’t played as well as we have in the last two games but it is a big three points for us.”
