Joe Garner Nominated For JPT Goal Of The Round

Preston North End striker Joe Garner is one of ten players nominated for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Ultimate Finish award.

Ten sensational strikes have been shortlisted for the latest Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Ultimate Finish award – with fans set to have the final say on which comes out on top.

A public vote has now been launched to decide which player will claim the glory for the best goal from the 16 second round ties played.

All the nominations have come from different clubs with North End, Doncaster Rovers, Morecambe, Sheffield United, Barnsley, Colchester United, Coventry City, Plymouth Argyle, Swindon Town and Bristol City all represented.

And now supporters are left with the difficult task of selecting the winner from the goals, which can be viewed here.

The successful player will receive the Ultimate Finish trophy and a place in the Ultimate Finish of the Season competition, while all fans who vote for the winning strike will be entered into a special prize draw with one lucky winner receiving an iPod Shuffle.

Closing dates for votes is Monday, November 3.

“Any of the ten goals would be a very fitting winner of the competition which makes it an extremely difficult decision for supporters who will be voting.
