Simon Grayson Expecting A Different Game

16 October 2014

Simon Grayson expects both sides to make changes to the teams that faced each other in the JPT fixture last week when Port Vale visit Deepdale again this weekend.

Last time out, Grayson only had 16 players available with players on international duty and some carrying knocks, but feels there could be some changes, not only to his side, but also in Rob Page's side, creating a different game from the previous one.

"The game that we had in the JPT will be slightly different, I would have thought they would have a couple of different players in, and we will have a couple of different players in but we know the strengths and weaknesses of them as they will of us.

"I think we can look at ourselves, and think he did well, he didn't do too well and they will do exactly the same thing, so it's important that we maintain how we have played over the last few weeks, especially at home.

"The way we have passed the ball around, created chances, taken the chances and obviously we have got to make sure we are a little bit better defensively and not to concede as many as we have but its getting that right balance. We will be setting the stall out to get all three points and maintaing the record at this moment in time.
