Manager Simon Grayson is hoping to end the week on a high note by picking up three points against Crawley Town this weekend.
Grayson knows what to expect when he comes face to face with his former manager John Gregory and his Crawley side, and believes PNE will need to be patient on Saturday afternoon in order to get the win.
"We had them watched the other night against Doncaster and they defended really well, they had a shape about them, they didn't get forward too much but we know teams coming to Deepdale will do that.
"We have to be patient, but if we play with the level of intensity and explosiveness that we did on Tuesday night then we have got a great chance of winning the game.
"The disappointment of the players from Tuesday, will hopefully be reflected on Saturday's performance the way they come out of the traps again.
"You have to earn the right to win any match, no matter who you are playing against and obviously we want to round off this weekend with a win."
