Preston North End assistant manager Glynn Snodin is adamant that the Lilywhites want to be successful in the JPT.
PNE host Shrewsbury Town in the first round at Deepdale on Tuesday night and Snodin is looking for the players’ winning mentality to shine through.
Speaking to PNE Player, Snodin said: “It is great that we have got a good squad and a good squad to choose from, whoever comes in to our team always plays their part.
“We want to win this game and we want to win this competition; it would be great to get to the final and win it.
“We have got that winning mentality and it doesn’t matter what the competition, you still want to go and win.”
