Chris Humphrey is the comprehensive winner of Preston North End’s Goal of the Month competition for August.
The winger; who was nominated for Sky Bet League One’s Player of the Month accolade due to his impressive displays, claimed the Club’s goal of the month award for his terrific strike against Doncaster Rovers.
The goal, which gave PNE the lead on the night, won the award as voted by the fans, with a whopping 84 percent of the vote.
Neil Kilkenny finished second with eight percent for his volley against Rochdale in the first round of the Capital One Cup, whilst Joe Garner’s pair of strikes against Scunthorpe United totalled the remaining eight percent of the vote.
