Keith Keane will join Crawley Town on a 93 day loan deal, effective from Friday.
The tough tackling midfielder has joined the Red Devils in a bid to gain some vital first team action with PNE’s fellow Sky Bet League One side.
Keane has featured 77 times for North End since his arrival from Luton Town in 2012, although he has struggled to break into manager Simon Grayson’s starting XI this term.
Keane can feature in cup competition for the Sussex Club but he cannot face the Lilywhites.
Crawley travel to Deepdale later this month.
