The deadline has been extended meaning that you still have time to vote for Joe Garner and Josh Brownhill at the North-West Football Awards.
The Preston North End duo are nominated for the player of the year and rising star awards respectively, and you have until 24th October to register your vote.
After a terrific season in front of goal last campaign which saw Garner net 24 times, the Preston North End No.14 is up and running in a similar rich vein of form this time around, grabbing six goals in the Lilywhites’ opening eight league games.
Another making a big impression is youngster Brownhill following his debut against Oldham Athletic in October 2013.
Since featuring that evening, the former PNE Academy graduate went on to make a total of 30 appearances last season, scoring three times, and he has shown no signs of letting up in 2014/15, scoring in friendlies against Liverpool and Burnley as well as in competitive action against Chesterfield; the youngster becoming a mainstay in manager Simon Grayson’s first team.
Garner has been nominated for 2014 League One Player of the Year – an award won by PNE midfielder Welsh in 2013, and Brownhill has been nominated for the Rising Star award.
