DJ Happy With Preston’s Tune

6 April 2015

Preston North End midfielder Daniel Johnson was pleased with the side’s second half display at the Lilywhites dissected Bradford City 3-0 at Valley Parade.

Johnson scored his tenth goal of the season and North End’s second of the day as PNE cut open the Bantams in the second half to score three times without reply.

And Johnson was pleased with how the team kept going until the full time whistle.

“We went in at half-time and said ‘be patient, they are a man down and we just need to get the ball down and pass it’.

“We got the penalty, got the goal, we kept on going, kept on going, I scored, and then Chrissy [Chris Humphrey] got the one towards the end.

“Before the game I said to Cal [Callum Robinson] ‘if I get the chance I’m going to try and stick it in the top corner today’, and luckily for me I managed to do that.
