Full Info On ‘Deepdale Legends’ Charity Match

29 April 2015

On Wednesday 29th April, the ‘Deepdale Legends’ charity match will take place at the home of Preston North End in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

As a part of manager Simon Grayson’s charity work, the PNE boss is bringing a team of former players and famous faces to face a team of fans who bid for their place on the opposing team.

The auction for the positions on the team raised a huge amount for Prostate Cancer UK and we hope to increase the figure on the night.

Anyone is welcome to come along and watch the match and see their former PNE heroes grace the Deepdale pitch once more.

Simon Grayson will select his team from the following players:

John Vaughan
John Fendley ('Fenners' from Sky Sports)
Bryn Law
Chris Lucketti
Mark Lawrenson
Glynn Snodin
John Dreyer
Paul McKenna
Kevin Kilbane
David Eyres
Simon Grayson
Jon Macken
Dean Windass
Mike Peters
David Lucas
And other invited guests.

The turnstiles in the Invincibles Pavilion will be open from 6.30pm ready for a 7pm kick-off. Entry is via donation to Prostate Cancer UK at the turnstiles - donations can be as small or large as you wish.

Kiosks will be open in the stand for refreshments and seating is unreserved within the Invincibles Pavilion.
Parking on the night is free and unrestricted and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

We hope it will be an entertaining and enjoyable evening for all involved as well as raising money for a fantastic cause.
