Gaffer Looking For 'Unbelievable Atmosphere' On Saturday

9 April 2015

Manager Simon Grayson is hoping to get the stadium rocking this weekend as Bristol City come to Deepdale in League One's top of the table clash.

There is clearly a spirit and togetherness around the Club at the moment and the gaffer wants that to show on Saturday, as he looks for the fans to get right behind the team and help them as they look for all three points.

"It's one of the games you work hard for, and this game was something that you would think at the start of the season might have something riding on it and it certainly has.

"The worst case scenario would have been that there was nothing riding on this game and that would have been a pity because it means that we wouldn't have been where we wanted to be.

"First versus second, we don't know what the crowd is going to be but it's going to be a fantastic atmosphere and it's obviously another three points that we are desperate to get.

"It's the stage of the season where you really get that galvanised spirit and the atmosphere is electric. Full credit at Bradford on Monday, that was an unbelievable atmosphere with both supporters and I expect that same at Deepdale.

"When we get that place rocking, as we have on a few occasions this year, it's a real cauldron of noise. Everything is geared to go, everybody wants us to get three points, obviously the more people we can get to come down and support us, the more it will obviously help us."
