Garner And Co Confident Ahead Of 'Massive Game'

9 April 2015

North End talisman Joe Garner can't wait for this weekend's top of the table clash against Bristol City and is more than confident North End can come out on top.

The frontman admits it is a huge game in the race for promotion and insists the lads remain confident ahead of the game and hope to come away with three points on Saturday afternoon.

"We're looking forward to the game, we go into it with confidence and looking to pick up three points.

"We've got quite a few people coming to the game, obviously when we are doing well, everyone wants to come and watch the lads and support them and we're just looking forward to it really.

"I think first versus second it's always a massive game and we will be ready, we go out there confident that we can pick up three points and try and catch them.

"They've done very well to be where they are now in the league, but we are a strong side ourselves and we are confident that we can beat anyone in this league and we will go out there to do that on Saturday.

"The lads are buzzing, we are on good form at the minute and playing some good football and picking up some good points and we are confident, we're a confident group. The gaffer has got us playing how he wants us to play and we've got a strong squad and we're just excited to keep the games coming.
